TRADING ACCOUNT MANAGER

Scottish Borders & Perthshire

We are working with a leading Potato specialist operating and supplying most of the major retailers within the UK with top quality potatoes year-round.

They are supplied by 200 growers which makes them one of the largest in the UK whilst also being one of the largest suppliers of organic potatoes.

They are looking to expand their current sites and bring some fresh talent into the business.

The Role

In this position you would be managing and responsible for the purchasing of potatoes from new and existing suppliers across key growing regions of Scotland.

All of these procured potatoes are to be co-ordinated and managed into a network of customers throughout the UK and abroad, therefore working as part of procurement and trading teams.

The Candidate

To succeed in this role, you will possess:

• Great time management and organisational skills that enable you to deal with an autonomous role.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• IT literate and driving licence.
• Knowledge of the Potato or Fresh Produce sector and have experience working in a similar role previously.
